See Hawkeye And Scarlet Witch’s Awesome Civil War Costume Updates

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s never fashionable for superheroes to keep wearing the same costumes in every movie. If they want to keep in style, they need to make adjustments, big or small, with each new adventure, and Captain America: Civil War won’t be any exception. Most of the participants in next year’s conflict will be rocking new or altered threads, including Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch, and thanks to a behind-the-scenes photo, we have a great look at what Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen are wearing for the 2016 blockbuster.

Renner posted this snapshot on WhoSay of him dressed like Hawkeye and taking aim at something (that photographer might want to take a couple more steps away) while Olsen looks on in her Scarlet Witch costume. Compared to a more drastic costume shift like Steve Rogers’ uniforms in Captain America: The First Avengerand The Avengers, the differences in what these two are wearing are more subtle, but still worth pointing out.

Although we caught quick glimpses of him in the Captain America: Civil War trailer, this is our best look at Hawkeye’s new costume so far. Clint Barton went for a darker shade of purple for his fourth big screen outing, and rather than wear two sleeves or no sleeves, he’s opted to keep one of his arms covered and the other one exposed. While the concept art released over the summer made it seem like Hawkeye would be wearing something more faithful to what his comic book counterpart wears, it looks like he decided to keep things more low key, which is probably for the best if he doesn’t want to attract attention.

In Scarlet Witch’s case, Elizabeth Olsen wore regular clothes for most of Avengers: Age of Ultron, but debuted an official new costume at the end of the movie following her induction into the New Avengers. Her Civil War outfit mostly looks the same, aside from some minor design changes (like longer coat tails), but it does appear that she’s wearing a brighter shade of red this time around. However, in the few seconds we see her in the trailer, her costume looks more crimson than red, so either this is just a lighting issue in Jeremy Renner’s picture or Wanda will don a brighter costume sometime during the movie.

Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch didn’t get off to a great start in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which was perfectly exemplified when the archer shocked her with one of his arrows to prevent her from playing with his mind. Their relationship changed when she and Quicksilver switched sides, and during Ultron’s attack on Sokovia, Clint inspired Wanda to overcome her fears and become one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Following the Sokovia Accords being passed in Captain America: Civil War, the two will be working together as members of Team Captain America. While Hawkeye will be showing off his archery skills as usual, Scarlet Witch will be utilizing her powers in new ways, like propelling herself into the air.

Fans will see these two in action wearing their new duds when Captain America: Civil War is released on May 6, 2016.

Quicksilver Talks about X-Men: Apocalypse

Quicksilver Talks about X-Men: Apocalypse

We saw him died during Avengers: Age of Ultron when he tried to protect Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and a child from the devastating gunshot. But in the upcoming X-Men movie, the ninth installment for the X-Men series, Quicksilver’s back, and running faster than ever!

“It’s the biggest X-Men film. It’s about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge,” Evan Peters told Details.com, who will reprise his role as Pietro Maximoff a.k.a. Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson portrays the role in the Avengers movie).

Peters, who also plays different roles in TV series American Horror Story, was asked whether the latest X-men film can be characterized as a zombie apocalypse movie as well (the current TV show trend),“Ha! No, it’s not. Although that would be amazing if Apocalypse [the evil mutant] brought back the dead to help him take over the earth. I love zombies; I can’t get enough.”

But he goes on to tell what his goal will be come X-Men: Apocalypse and how he managed to get on board X-Men’s goal to save the world, “the story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him. It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world.”

X-Men: Apocalypse Official Synopsis

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible.

Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.

As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled to hit the cinemas May 27, 2016.

War Machine Has A New Name In Captain America: Civil War

War Machine Has A New Name In Captain America: Civil War

War Machine Has A New Name In Captain America: Civil War image
Don Cheadle’s superhero name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has gone through multiple changes over the years. When he first strapped on a suit in Iron Man 2, we got to know him as War Machine. But then Iron Man 3 gave him a red-white-and-blue paint job, renaming him Iron Patriot. But then, of course, in The Avengers: Age of Ultron he was back to being called War Machine. It seems that changing names has become James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes’ thing, as it’s been revealed that in Captain America: Civil War we will get to know him as War Hammer.

This information comes courtesy of Total Film, which has a full spread about Captain America: Civil War in the new issue. In an annotated piece of concept art featuring members of Team Iron Man doing battle with Team Captain America, it’s noted that Rhodey has a new name as part of the Avengers lineup. The blurb doesn’t really reveal anything new about the character’s role in the film, but you can read it below:

Old Shellhead’s greatest ally, War Hammer (Don Cheadle) looks to get into a spot of bother in Civil War – the film’s trailer shows his pulverised body being cradled by a distraught Tony. Could this be the end of the line?

There is no War Hammer featured in Marvel Comics (unless you count Mjolinr), and it’s a bit strange that they would go with that name given the existence of the geeky tabletop wargame Warhammer 40,000. That being said, the name is a bit more PR friendly, so it’s understandable why he would change it after joining the Avengers.

It’s entirely possible – if not likely – that the new name is mostly meaningless, but the choice does generate some speculation in my mind. Specifically, the War Machine armor was initially upgraded by Tony Stark’s rival, Justin Hammer of HammerIndustries. We haven’t seen that character, as played by Sam Rockwell, since theIron Man 3-themed One Shot All Hail The King, but perhaps he could somehow reemerge in Captain America: Civil War?

We don’t really know what to expect from Don Cheadle’s part in Captain America: Civil War, though he could actually play a significant role given his relationship with the aforementioned Tony Stark (the movie’s prime antagonist). It may be a while before we getting any new info, given that the first trailer just dropped a few weeks ago, but we’re excited to find out more.

Captain America: Civil War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and is based on a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (the same four men who brought us Captain America: The Winter Soldier). Look for the film in theaters on May 6, 2016, and stay tuned for more updates.

GTA 5 and GTA Online DLC Release Date and Updates: Single Player Mode DLC Set to be Released, Festive Surprise 3.0 Update Set to be Released Christmas Eve [VIDEO]

GTA 5 and GTA Online DLC Release Date and Updates: Single Player Mode DLC Set to be Released, Festive Surprise 3.0 Update Set to be Released Christmas Eve [VIDEO]

The single-player mode of GTA 5 has been neglected because of the GTA Online. GTA Online has been the focus of Rockstar since its fruition and with the DLCs this seems obvious as well. However it seems like things are going to change and Rockstar’s planning to create a DLC for the single-player mode of GTA 5.

Here’s the latest on ‘GTA 5’ and ‘GTA Online’ DLC release dates, news, and updates.

According to Mr. Boss FTW (a known GTA 5 tipster), Rockstar is apparently planning to release a DLC for the single-player more of GTA 5, a Liberty DLC.

Aside from this, another tipster, Funmw2 aka Tezfunz also tipped about the release of Lowriders 2.0 DLC and the Festive Surprise 3.0 Update.
There are also tweets coming from Funmw2 about the Executives and Other Criminals DLC, then there’s the Bahama Mamas Night Club.

According to Ross, we might also see another DLC that is focused on night clubs and disco clubs, similar to the Ballad of Gay Tony in GTA 4.

The upcoming Festive Surprise 3.0 is believed to be released by Christmas Eve, and Lowriders 2.0 is rumored to be moved to January or early February.

Now when it comes to the Liberty City DLC, according to IBTimes,

“The tipster clarifies to a fan that he is actually referring to the game location and not just the textures found in the files. This could actually mean that Rockstar’s recent release of Liberty City stories for mobile phones and the game’s secret unlockable T-Shirt reading: “I love Liberty City”, may have something to do with Rockstar’s plans for releasing a single-player DLC in GTA 5 for current-gen gaming platforms.”

So it means that this is not the GTA 5 map. The tipster added,

GTA V is based of GTA IV since they use the same game engine. They don’t have to transfer the whole city, they can take a part of it and update it. Anyway I assume it’s coming with SP DLC.

Because from what I saw, they are going to re-create how the map is loaded with SP DLC. Creating new versions of existing scripts. With every update, you can also see them taking stuff from previous games that use RAGE engine and update it to transfer it into GTA V. Example: The Heist yacht (Max Payne 3), most of the DLC vehicles are from GTA IV.
