Daniel Radcliffe in new ‘Victor Frankenstein’ promo, honoured at British LGBT Awards

The first official promo with Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy from the set of Victor Frankenstein was released by Empire magazine earlier this week, and can be seen below.

The thriller, where the Harry Potter actor stars as Igor, sidekick to McAvoy’s Dr. Frankenstein, will be released this fall around the world.

Dan was chosen as the Celebrity Straight Ally of the Year at the 2015 British LGBT Awards. The actor uploaded a quick video of thanks via his Google plus page, which can be seen here.

DEADPOOL Set Photos and Videos – Deadpool Takes on Colossus

Fan Made Poster by CAMW1N

Some more photos from the set of Deadpool have surfaced, and they feature Ryan Reynolds and his stunt-double in costume taking on Colossus. Or at least a giant man named Andre Tricoteux dressed up in a motion-capture suit, who will be replaced by a CGI Colossus in the final product. There are also shots of Ed Skrein as Ajax and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Some of the photos may contain SPOILERS, so I wouldn’t look or read any further if you’re not in to the whole spoiler thing.

One of the scenes shows Deadpool being dragged by Colossus, who he’s handcuffed to alongside Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Deadpool tries to escape by what looks like cutting off his own hand. Then in another scene it seems there might be a fatal conclusion to a sword battle between Deadpool and Ajax.

Awesomely Fierce Call of Duty: Black Ops III Reveal Trailer

Awesomely Fierce Call of Duty: Black Ops III Reveal Trailer

Activision and Treyarch have finally unleashed the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The trailer is intense and action-packed, and if you’re a fan of this video game franchise there’s a good chance that you’re going to love what you see. I’ve had a blast playing the Call of Duty: Black Ops games, and this next chapter looks utterly insane. There’s no doubt that we’ll learn more about the game at the E3 Expo, which takes place in June. Hopefully we’ll get some hands on gameplay action.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will thrust players into a dark, gritty future, where cybernetics and biotechnology have given rise to a new breed of soldier. Empowered by Direct Neural Interface (DNI) technology, players will assume the role of Black Ops soldiers that are interconnected, faster, and more lethal than ever in a new four-player co-op campaign and a completely redefined multiplayer experience.

With a new momentum-based, chained movement system that allows players to move fluidly through environments and maintain constant control of their weapon, Call of Duty: Black Ops III is packed with new multiplayer features. In addition to a new weapon customization system that lets players create unique weapon variants, Call of Duty: Black Ops III introduces the new Specialist system, which lets players choose and rank up nine elite Black Ops soldiers, each with their own unique look, personality, backstory, and devastating weapons and abilities.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be Black Ops without Treyarch’s signature Zombies. While more info will arrive later this year, Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Zombies will feature its own unique story and XP progression system, adding new levels of depth and replayability.

Activision also confirmed that players who pre-order the game will be given access to the multiplayer beta, which you can learn more about by clicking here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III launches on Friday, November 6th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Australian Government Invites Minecraft Fans To Design National Park

The next Australian national park could be designed by Minecraft fans, in a new project by the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges natural-resources management board.

The South Australian State Government is inviting young fans to design their ideal national park via the sandbox game Minecraft.

The winning designs will guide the next national-park upgrades in the area, worth around $10 million. The competition is open for upper primary school students in years four, five, six, and seven in Adelaide and Adelaide Hills. Participants will be judged on their design’s sustainability and realism. This could include bike trails, wheelchair accessibility, and campsites. To be considered, all entries must include five screenshots of their creation and a short three-minute narrated video clip of the scene.
